Letter to Elif
“Hey did you manage to avoid going “in an absurdist twist as if taken from his own stories” in your Kafka piece? I wish there were a piece on the Kafka papers that was all “in a Gogolian turn of events…” and “in what was fast becoming a Kleistian nightmare…” and “then a truly Pinter-like scene took place…” and “the whole affair has a Lynchian air to it” and “a real-life story that can only be described as Kharmesque.”
